Our Story

Aachhri wasn't built over years.
It was born at 3 AM —
In rebellion,
In obsession,
In a passion that won't let me sleep.

Hi, I'm Pooja.

Growing up, my dad told me stories of Aachhri — a powerful fairy, revered by all. Charming, graceful, and a force to be reckoned with. That stayed with me.

I've always believed every woman carries an Aachhri within her — her existence needs no permission, no validation. She only awaits the right canvas to reveal her true potential.

I love clothes — and have a knack for the prints, the fabrics, the details that most people don't notice. So I followed that instinct, and built a brand to represent the Aachhri within.

The craft in every stitch

At the heart of Aachhri is chikankari — the centuries-old hand embroidery of Lucknow, worked thread by thread onto flowing fabric. Every kurti and kurta set we make is embroidered by hand, never machine-stamped. That's why no two pieces are ever quite identical: a motif sits a little differently, the density shifts by a hair. We see that not as a flaw, but as the fingerprint of the artisan who made it — and proof that what you're wearing is genuinely one of a kind.

We work across the fabrics that let chikankari breathe — airy viscose, muslin and georgette, soft rayon and modal, cool cotton, and occasion-ready Chanderi — so there's an Aachhri for a quiet weekday and one for the night you want to be looked at twice.

What makes it an Aachhri

Every piece is thoughtfully curated, and every detail is intentional — from the fall of a calf-length hem to the matching lower or coordinated palazzo that so many of our styles come with, ready to wear straight out of the box. It's all made with one dream: to make you feel beautiful, and entirely seen.

The rest… I'll leave for you to experience :)
